Challengers on the Flight Line - As a Prairie Storm Rolls
In
Approximately 70 Challenger enthusiasts attended
the inaugural western Challenger Owners event at Westaskwin on June
22 - 24, 2007. We had some sun, and MUCH rain, but enough sun
to get some flying in.
Our thanks to all who came, and special thanks to Mike and Doris
and their staff at the Reynolds Alberta Museum, Brett and Sandra from
the Wetaskiwin Airport, and Alderman Dave Anderson and his wife from
Wetaskiwin. You made us all feel so welcome, and everyone is
commenting on the excellent BBQ steak dinner!
Photos from the event will begin popping up here over the next
few days, and we'll be in touch with the Challenger community over
the next few months to begin planning next year's event.

JBN Rides Again - Anybody
Seen her Wings? |
|
With fresh fabric and paint, and just after her engine break-in from
a 0-Time overhaul, JBN takes to setting a new land speed record on
the ramp.
This was all the flying she did at Westebello 2007, but she was
back in the air not too long afterwards.. |
