FF-1 Fuel Management System
(New Infinity Series Singles) |

-
Advanced fuel computer with 13 different modes of operation
-
Supports single or dual fuel tanks
-
The FF-1 can connect to one or two fuel flow senders, fuel level
senders or fuel injectors
-
Differential fuel flow calculations are also supported for fuel
return systems
-
Fuel flow by the means of measuring the fuel injectors on time
is also supported
-
The FF-1 can connect to a Stratomaster Infinity ASX-1 via the
airtalk protocol for range based calculations. It can also
accept a manually entered cruising speed if an ASX-1 instrument
is not available
-
Standard automotive fuel level senders can be used, even with
odd shaped tanks due to a comprehensive, multi-point calibration
system
|
The
FF-1 fuel management computer is a 2.25 inch instrument intended for
efficient monitoring of fuel related information for single or dual
fuel tanks onboard small aircraft and related applications.
The
FF-1 unit can connect to one or two fuel flow senders, one or two
fuel level senders or both. Full functionality is available with
both senders or only with a fuel flow sender using calculated fuel
levels based on fuel usage. Differential fuel flow calculations are
also supported for fuel return systems. Fuel injector systems are
also supported.
Standard automotive fuel level senders can be used, even with odd
shaped tanks due to a comprehensive, multi-point calibration system.
Most fuel flow senders can be used and the K-factor of the sender
can be entered into the system for simple calibration. MGL Avionics
supplies a lightweight dual range fuel flow sender that is ideally
suited for the FF-1.
In addition, the FF-1 can be connected via the airtalk communication
link to the Stratomaster Infinity ASX-1 for automatic range
calculation which is based on current fuel usage, fuel remaining and
current airspeed. |

E3 Universal
Engine Monitor (New Infinity Series Singles) |
 |
The
E3 universal engine monitor combines in one compact 2.25 inch format
instrument all that is needed to monitor most smaller aircraft
engines from two-stroke ultralight engines to medium sized four
strokes such as from Rotax, Continental and Lycoming. |
|
BAT-1 Battery
Voltage and Current Monitor (New Infinity Series Singles) |
 |
The
BAT-1 is a 2.25 inch instrument used to monitor your aircraft’s battery
power supply. It can be used on lead-acid, NiCad batteries as well
as gel cells. This instrument is very useful in determining your
battery’s health, charging status, as well as the current load
consumption of your aircraft. The BAT-1 can be used in both 12V and
24V aircraft and can measure voltages up to 30V DC. The BAT-1 uses a
standard 50 mV shunt (50 Amp shunt included) to measure the current
making the unit capable of measuring currents from 5A to 500A. The
instrument contains a programmable low/high voltage alarm to
automatically detect bad batteries and alternator failures.
-
Measure voltage and current simultaneously
-
Can measure voltages up to 30V (Compatible with both 12V and 24V
aircraft supplies)
-
Contains a programmable low/high voltage alarm to automatically
catch alternator failures and bad batteries
-
Includes a battery charge/discharge indication
-
Choice of 3 display modes (volts only, current only, or dual
current & voltage display)
-
Records maximum volts, charge and discharge currents in permanent
memory
-
Analog bar graph indicating charge/discharge current

The
Enigma is a comprehensive flight, engine and navigation instrument
designed for Experimental and Light Sport aircraft. The Enigma is a
hardware and software concept that promotes a flexible, powerful
EFIS platform together with a software application system that is
highly user-modifiable.
As
an EFIS hardware platform, the Enigma provides state of the art
multi-processor based processing utilizing components chosen for
absolute robustness in radiation intense environments such as found
at high altitudes. This is coupled with intense low power design
methods to further maximize overall system application and
reliability.
The
large amount of flexibility built into the base system allows the
adaptation of the Enigma to almost any mission and aircraft. Due to
low system cost, Enigma is equally suited to very light aircraft,
gliders and rotorcraft, while providing enough flexibility to be
utilized by even twin-engine aircraft with full dual engine
monitoring.

Nine Screens
The
Enigma (5.7"), Voyager (8") and Odyssey (10.4") EFIS each feature
9 fully user-programmable screens. You can choose from standard
screens (the unit ships with 9 pre-designed screens) or you can
use our PC-based editing software to design unique screens.
Hundreds of highly configurable instruments and display items in
various forms are available to choose from. From traditional
analog gauge displays to bar-graphs, digital readouts, horizons,
HSIs, moving maps, etc. The choice is yours! And if you don’t want
to get too involved, just keep the standard screens, or contact us
to design a special screen for you, free of charge.
To select one of your 9 screens, simply press one of the buttons
numbered 1 to 9 on the keypad, and your next screen is up!

Here are some examples of the standard screens that ship with the
EFIS (you can choose 9), that show you what is possible: |
|

Standard screen with attitude as primary display - 3D terrain and
airspeed and altitude tapes. |

The
same screen, but with moving map GPS in the central area. |
|

Analog-style gauges for flight data and RPM and bargraphs for
engine functions. Note that the info page at lower left of screen
can be paged using the LEFT and RIGHT arrows - up to 6 pages! |

Split screen with attitude at left and HSI on right. Note that HSI
works when connected to nav receiver, or using our virtual GPS VOR/ILS
(GVOR and GLS) navigation system. |
|

Another style of split screen, with moving map top right. GPS Goto
arrow is shown at bottom left with ETA, ETE, Ground Speed and
Distance to waypoint in this example. |

Full page moving map with terrain as background and airports and
airspaces. Arrow in top tight corner indicates realtime wind speed
and direction vector. |
|

Full screen HSI page with CDI, Glideslope. Works when connected to
suitable nav receiver OR with our GPS-based GVOR and GLS system. |

Full page moving map with terrain look-ahead.
|
|

New vector base map showing cities, major roads, rivers, etc. |
